Example 1

$newDate = \Carbon\Carbon::createFromFormat('Y-m-d H:i:s', $date)

->format('d-m-Y');

dd($newDate);

Example 2: Y-m-d to m/d/Y

$newDate = \Carbon\Carbon::createFromFormat('Y-m-d', $date)

->format('m/d/Y');

"02/22/2020"

Example 3: m/d/Y to Y-m-d

->format('Y-m-d');

Example 3: Y-m-d to d/m/Y
